Ethics Statement

This is my deal with you, in writing. It exists because trust is the only currency I want to run on — and because in my day job, the rule is simple: if it matters, you brief it out loud before you fly.

✈️ Who I am

I'm an airline pilot (as most of you already know), currently flying the Airbus A330. I am also a husband, a father, and I have more interests than a full day allows. You can find my full story here [link → /bio].

Everything I publish takes a method that keeps flight decks safe — briefings, checklists, debriefs, crew resource management, decision-making under pressure — and translates it for everyday life. Aviation is the source, not the subject.

I am also studying nutrition (working toward certification) and restarting middle-distance triathlon training. Expect essays about all of it.

I write as myself, not for my airline. Nothing here represents my employer's views, and I never share confidential operational material. The cockpit stories I tell are told for the lesson, and are anonymised or generalised where they need to be.

I translate professional methods into everyday tools. I'm not your doctor, therapist, or lawyer — and an essay is not operational advice. Take the method, adapt it to your life, and use your own judgment. That's the whole point of the method.

I use AI the way I use a flight computer: as an instrument, with me as the pilot. It helps me research, manage, and structure my ideas. The experience is lived, the opinions are mine, and every word ships because I chose it. Nothing here is auto-generated and published unread.
